About
Built in 1883 "Powder River Station" included a store, a post office, and a saloon. "Powder River Station" was built right next to the Powder River near the location of "Old Fort Reno". The Powder River at Sussex is a wide slow tributary of the Yellowstone River. The water doesn't have any rapids. Here is a picture of the building. Abandoned in 1914.
