On March 2nd I woke up to discover my @HearItDotCom X account was suspended. 6500+ followers. Gone.
UPDATE: March 21st, 2024 – Today I discovered one of my tweets had been picked up by Matt Philbin with mrcTV (Media Research Center TV) on March 2nd, the very day X suspended my @HearItDotCom account. Quite the coincidence.

UPDATE: March 10th, 2024 – @ElonMusk talks a big game, but at the end of the day X is infested with “free speech” haters working behind the scenes using “the rules” to shut down anyone THEY have targeted.
There has been a lot of X chatter recently concerning the reinstatement of rules concerning ‘misgendering’, and I assumed I had called someone ‘Mr.’ when I should have said ‘Mam’. Malicious Users Exploiting X’s Brand Safety Rules
So I waited for an email from X Inc. Mind you, my account has been ‘restricted’ in the past for unpopular opinions. What comment had precipitated my downfall?
In fact, I spent most of the night wondering. Over thinking really.
The fact is some X users report you just to shut you up. They’re not sincere. They just use the system to censor ideas they don’t want allowed on X. But what was the problem now? Then the email from X arrived.
Much to my surprise I was banned over a humorous interaction with another X user. X called it ‘violent speech’. Violent speech? Joking about a man’s car going over a cliff because they weren’t using fictitious Callahan Auto brake pads is hate?
It took me a second to digest what had just happened. Violent speech? I almost laughed. Almost. Here’s the background.
On April 1st Ben Shapiro reposted a X from Wild Hild concerning a apparent conflict developing at Blackrock regarding ESG. Larry Fink might be on the ropes. Good news.
Then the kind of thing I love about X happened. Humor.
Ben Shapiro posts about an extremely serious subject that impacts the 401k’s of millions of Americans, and one of my fellow X compatriots takes this opportunity to make everyone laugh.
Tommy Boy. Chris Farley and David Spade on the road to sell brake pads, saving Callahan Auto and making sure all the local town folk keep their jobs. Piss yourself funny. Brian Dennehy plays Farley’s dad, Big Tom Callahan. An American classic.
Needless to say a number of this immediately began replying to Big Tom @CallahanAutoCo because we were definitely in on this joke.
So there we all were for a brief moment. Fans of the 1995 classic movie Tommy Boy having a laugh. Memeing with pure abandon. We all knew Big Tom and Tommy Boy would both despise ESG and DEI, and that even made the situation funnier.
Little did I realize how unhinged and unamused some in the audience might have really been.
Yes, I’d let my guard down. And what I really hadn’t factored in was the raw blazing hatred some people have for Ben Shapiro. You might ‘hate’ something like being caught in traffic, or spiders. But do you follow the thing you hate around in your free time? Stalkers do.
“Some stalkers may have pre-existing psychotic disorders such as delusional disorder, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophrenia . . . is primarily angry, vindictive, focused, often including projection of blame, obsession, dependency, minimization, denial, and jealousy.” (see link)
You see, some people actually spend their free time stalking Ben Shapiro. These crazies can post hundreds, if not thousands, of replies on Ben Shapiro X posts. Harassing fellow X users in the way only a mentally unstable person would find normal.
What kind of unstable are we talking about? Hard to say. These kinds of emotionally troubled X users might have ‘PRONOUNS IN BIO!’ in their profile. Perhaps.
Ah, yes, people like that exist. Not my first run in with such users. A user in Montana that may have little really going for besides a irrational hatred of those he has been programmed to hate. A man devoid of humor, a man who had never seen Tommy Boy? Sad people like that exist. It’s a big country.
Malicious Users Exploiting X’s Brand Safety Rules
The bottom line is this – You go on social media; you’re going to run into unstable people who game the system to censor people and ideas they hate.
What is even more bonkers than the use of cancelling tactics by a deranged Ben Shapiro stalker is the very fact that X is so easily manipulated, actually allowing themselves to be used in a transparently malevolent fashion against the best interests of the company.
What kind of business actually allows itself to be put out of of business by users who quite possibly would want to see it eliminated? Enabling Malicious Users to Exploit X’s Brand Safety Rules
That is a failing business model. Those who work for such a business are foxes in the henhouse, and it’s clear the longer they remain the more damage they will cause.
I am still a X Premium Member. I pay to support the free speech position of @ElonMusk.
It is imperative that X succeed as a relevant social media platform.
So what next? I asked Grok what the legal address of X was, Grok is very useful.

I guess I’ll just go to Small Claims Court in Buffalo, Wyoming? A Summery Judgement for every day @HearItDotCom is suspended? That’s like $50,000 every ten days. Maybe I should look into it?
This is a topic that is near to my heart… Many thanks! Where are your contact details though?
I’m guilty of ignoring hearit.com for almost 5 years, so I am currently just learning the ins ands out of wordpress. Are you a writer?
I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found
any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the
net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
I appreciate you comment. Honestly, I need to take more time with what I’m trying to say. But your words are certainly welcome. Yours is the first real review I’ve received.
I’m sorry I exposed dumb people and you paid the price!
Enjoy the brake pads!
The best damn brake pads. Ever.
This is very unfair. I was looking for you today on Twitter and it says Account suspended. WTH? I hope you can get this straightened out soon.
This is life. I’ll try to call tomorrow.
